Tottenham Hotspur have set an asking price of €30 million for their Brazilian full-back Emerson Royal.

The North London club are expected to make quite a few changes to their squad in the upcoming transfer window. While the focus will be on possible incomings, quite a few of their players could be on the move.

According to a report from PL Brasil, Emerson Royal could be one of the players who ends up leaving the club in the summer and he seeks to join a ‘good team’.

Things didn’t work out for the Brazilian full-back at Barcelona and he ended up joining Spurs from the Spanish giants in the summer of 2021. While he was a regular feature in their starting XI under Antonio Conte, the 25-year-old has been reduced to a squad player under Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian manager has used him across the backline in times of need but he has racked up just over 1,300 minutes of first-team football in his 23 outings this term. With Emerson getting limited minutes throughout the ongoing season, he has been linked with a move away from the club.

AC Milan are one of the clubs keen on securing his signature. The Italian giants want to reinforce their backline in the summer and they are looking for a top-quality right-back. The 25-year-old could be a perfect fit for them.

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport via SportWitness, €30 million could be enough to acquire Emerson’s services.

The North London club are not desperate to sanction his departure as they still believe in his quality and that is why they have set a high asking price.

With his contract running until the summer of 2026, Spurs don’t really have any reason to rush into a deal and they will only let him leave in a situation where they recoup what they had invested in him.

While there is interest in his services from the Middle East, those around the player have confirmed that he has no intentions of leaving Europe at this stage.
